The word "gat(갓)" is a homophone in Korean. It sounds like "God" suggesting someone is beyond perfect—almost godlike. At the same time, "gat (갓)" is the name of a traditional Korean hat that recently gained international attention through the movie K-Pop Demon Hunters.
